The LSR Roadster Press Release

October 12, 2006---Green Bay, WI---For Immediate Release:

GENADDI DESIGN GROUP (GDG) announces the LSR, a Roadster based on the new Corvette Z06. The LSR is the next offering in a growing line of Roadster Upgrades by Genaddi Design Group and will be on display at the S.E.M.A. Show in Las Vegas, beginning October 31, 2006. Mark Gerisch and Eric Brockmeyer’s vision of the 2007 Corvette Z06 can be viewed in the Dupont Registry booth, located directly in front of the set of the TV show “OVERHAULIN”.

At last year’s S.E.M.A. Show, GDG introduced a Prototype Roadster Upgrade of the limited production Ford GT, known as the GTX1. Currently being manufactured at Genaddi’s facility in Green Bay, WI. Designed by Kip Ewing of Ford SVT division the GTX1 was developed for Ford GT Owners who want the open sky above them rather than just the stock hard top, which, in some cases, has been reported to feel a little claustrophobic.

The idea of the Corvette Z06 as a convertible is not new, but GDG's version of it is. GDG has answered the call of automotive enthusiasts who love the performance of the Corvette Z06 but desire an open top car, an exotic roadster that Chevrolet has confirmed will not be offered by them. Essentially, every body panel of the Corvette Z06 has been reshaped in aluminum, creating a totally fresh and futuristic appearance. The nearly complete aluminum body of the LSR compliments the materials making up the lightweight Z06's chassis, motor and suspension. GDG has also nearly tripled the torsional rigidity over the stock Z06 coupe, something unheard of in the industry.

Prior to production, Genaddi is only offering 150 build slots for reservation. Of those, 50 slots are exclusively for GTX1 owners. Production will begin the second quarter of next year; on 2006 and 2007 Corvette Z06's and the early build slots will fill quickly.

As the Z06 is really not cut from the same mold as the C6 Corvette that it shares a body design with, it brings a whole new group of buyer to Corvette. Now, the average buyer of a Z06 is likely to be a Ford GT or Ferrari owner looking for the exclusive performance fix generated by the Z06 knowing the LSR upgrade allows the Z06 to stare in the face of every respectable Supercar.

Genaddi Design Group Founder and Master Coach Builder Mark Gerisch and independent designer Eric Brockmeyer created the look of the extraordinary “LSR” Roadster. At this point only 4 options are to be offered beyond the LSR upgrade: a computerized performance enhancement to 545HP, custom racing seats or complete custom leather/suede interior, larger wheels and wider tires. Currently the only performance upgrade to come standard with the new design is a MagnaFlow stainless steel exhaust with double wall construction and oval tips giving the car the throatier sound it demands.

Genaddi will begin taking orders for the LSR after the SEMA Show early in November. Gerisch said, "This project has been very secret. Only a few non-employees of GDG have seen the car, and they were GTX1 customers, and they all immediately reserved production cars without knowing the exact price, which we are targeting to be in the low $40,000’s.”

To get the LSR Roadster upgrade, customers have to either own, or acquire, a 2006, 2007 or 2008 Corvette Z06. When requested GDG will help clients acquire a Z06. Gerisch estimates 15% of Corvette Z06 coupes will become LSR Roadsters.
